Agent is an intelligent autonomous machine or soft system. The research on Multi-Agent System (MAS) has become the focus at present within the domain of computer science and artificial intelligence. MAS mainly research the problem that a group of agents collaborate and deal with knowledge under the complex environment. The Robot World Cup Soccer Games and Conferences (RoboCup) simulation game system for a group of agents offers a real-time, noisy, collaborative and adversarial environment. So it is a good platform for multi-agent research. RoboCup is an international joint project to promote AI, robotics, and related field. It is an attempt to foster AI and intelligent robotics research by providing a standard problem where wide range of technologies can be integrated and examined. For this purpose, RoboCup chose to use soccer game, and organize RoboCup: The Robot World Cup Soccer Games and Conferences [34].In order for a robot team to actually perform a soccer game, various technologies must be incorporated including: design principles of autonomous agents, multi-agent collaboration, strategy acquisition, real-time reasoning. Applying RoboCup simulation system this thesis research multi-agent system development. It achieves purposes as follow:Gets the understanding and master of the system makeup and how it functions.Divides the agent skills into three levels: low-level skills, intermediate skills, high-level skills, according to their relationship. Each level includes lots of modules.Applying analysis and prediction method implements basic tactics.Applying case-based reasoning deals with the ball interception decision.Multi-agent collaboration is important, including two aspects: roles and formations, communication between agents.Agents consist of multi-thread. Each thread accomplishes the different assignments. We analyze agent's multi-thread mechanism, and resolve interthread synchronization problem.
