This paper a new process model for Resin transfer molding (RTM) is proposed simulating the wetting out process which is the most critical stage in RTM by common windows.Work is focused on such aspects as follows:Firstly,we get the permeability in the flow direction through analyzing the tests data on special reinforcements.Secondly, the process model is established. The process is departed into two stage. One is pre-process.The moldfilling of polymer melt in three dimensional thin parts is a viscous , incompressible flow with moving boundaries. A simplified set of equations for analysis of the filling.Finite difference methods are used for the pressure calculation .Advancement of flow f ront uses a control volume approachand dynamic simulation of the moldfilling process is achieved. Other is wetting out process which is the most critical stage in RTM.This stage is a typical porous media flow problem. We establish equations based on the Darcy theory and incompressible-flow continuity- equation.Last, this paper present a particle system to develop in windows environment on PC.The simulation technique developed is featured by its easy use and affordable application for general composite industries.
