Along with the rapid development of computer networks and multimedia, the applications of Web on Internet take on a trend of explosive increase. Nowadays, the web flow is becoming the main flow on Internet and is increasing by exponent, so many popular web sites usually face the situations of the overload of web servers and the delay of Http response time. At the same time, along with the increasing development of e-bank, Internet services mode is changing from the traditional data communication and information explorer to electronic transit and services, so how to provide differential but not "equal" Web quality of service for different users' requests in web servers and web server system has became the critical problem in the system supporting e-bank.Aiming at the applications of large-scale networks and e-bank, this paper brings forward a QoS-aware web cluster system and related implementation technology. The research work mentioned in this paper is mainly about:1. The research on QoS and Web QoSConcepts, classification, protocols and key technology are presented; Integrated Services and Differentiated Services on TCP/IP are introduced in details; deep research on the technology of Web QoS and Web QoS in cluster.2. The design of QoS-aware Web Cluster SystemThe analysis of the technology of QoS and load balance based on large-scale web computing; the design of this system which involves in two vital components: Web cluster switch and web server cluster; the design of load balance component and queue management component witch are the keys of web cluster switch; the discussion on popular load balance algorithms, queue algorithms and queue scheduling algorithms; the design of particular algorithm: QoS-aware Round Robin Scheduling.3. The implementation of QoS-aware Web Cluster systemResearch on socket technology and Netfilter structure in Linux; data structure, program flow and key fuctions are presented in this paper.4. Test and result analysisChoose WebStone as the web server testing tool; simulate system evironment through a LAN and test Web cluster system; anlysise the testing results.
