With the rapid development in the application area of Embedded Systems . The traditional development mode of Embedded Systems cann' t meet the practical need any longer . Being different with the design software in Windows or Linux , the Embedded Systems is oriented directly to application. Its software integrates closely with its hardware . Electronic engineers often make mistakes in ignoring the application of the Embedded Operation Systems and the method of development based on platform. While Computer software engineers lacks the essential hardware knowledge which makes them cannot access the Embedded Systems area easily.In this paper , we present a approach to realize the development based on platform of Embedded Systems , and apply it in project successfully .In the first chapter , this paper introduce both the history and the actuality of the Embedded Systems , as well as it's definition . Subsequntly,it discusses the concept of the development of the Embedded Systems , including it's development tools , procedure, life cycle . In the third chapter , this paper analyze the key points , difficulty and the detail of the development based on platform particularly . The fourth chapter this paper give a example : the design of the Quartz Crystal Quality Sizer . This example validate what the paper has said above is right .
