Especially as the emergence of various digital imaging devices, the image could even be processed by the computer and enhance the value and quality of images. PACS(Picture Archiving & Communication System) comes in order to manages these digital images. Hardware also enhances the PACS's function. Now the main functions are: interconnection of image devices, centralized management of images and query online, remote consultation and so on. The international organization presented the DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standard which normalizes the protocol and contents of communication to uniform the method of interconnection. These accelerate the spread of PACS.When developing PACS, we adopted midlleware technology. This middleware lies between the DICOM protocol layer and the application layer. It helps us pay more attention to the conveniences and the functions of software than to lower technology details. In addition, we use OO(Object-Oriented) software modeling method, and describe the whole process with UML(Unified Modeling Language) from requirementanalyzation to concrete class design. The modeling process makes developer think and solve problem in OO way as early as beginning, and output product for next step. By such way, we can gain the solution in the end. The concrete code programming is no other than translating the modeling products. The development way from up to down and of iteratively detailing is helpful for forming an easy maintaining robust software.Still, in order to develop more effectively by the group, we develop it parallel. This demands us to consider the interfaces between modules at an early time. Then each team in the group can be responsible for the code developed by themselves and can reduce possibilities when system is integrated. | Keywords/Search Tags: | PACS, DICOM, HIS, RIS, UML modeling, object-oriented, iteratively develop, conceptual model, sequence diagram, contract, interaction diagram, GRASP(General Responsibility Assignment Software Pattern), design class diagram | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
