The Development Of The Campus Nms And Its Key Technologies

Nowadays, management information system (MIS) has applied in all trades and professions because of its powerful function of information management, it has significant realistic meanings that modern MIS is used in college of engineering of XAC to raise the level of management, alleviate the working strength of staff.The paper, which is based on "the MIS of college of engineering of XAC ", takes research in the crucial skill and scheme of all processes in the development of MIS.Firstly, the existing working process is analysed and the defects of it are indicated, new management working pattern is pointed out. On this foundation, we carry out overall investigation for system, and finally we design the information model and the function model of system.According to specific working environment, the reason of using the structural pattern of C/S is analysed, the paper has also discussed the partition of software module from software project angle, then we divided the system into several function modules, so system is simplified.Because the safety of database is the chief problem of system design, paper has introduced the solution and scheme that made for guaranteeing data safety.On the foundation of this research, with the pattern of C/S, in the server, we use SQL Server7. 0 as the database management system, Windows 2000 server as the operating system. In the client, we adopt PowerBuilder to complete the programming of system and Windows 2000 professional as operating system.The system has get acceptance through experts, and now runs stabilizely, getting the consistent favourable comment of user.
