Regional Data Collecting System (RDCS) generally composed of micro base-station and data collecting terminals with transducers in it. Its communication distance is often within 10 kilometers, and the message transmitted is short. RDCS can be used wildly in areas such as industrial control, nature resources transfer, environment inspection, wild animal protection and so on.The RDCS has many users in it but relatively less traffic to burden. It works often in burst mode. The signal channel is complex and large. Several protocols can be applied to the system: fixed addressing, committed addressing and stochastic addressing (ALOHA) protocols. ALOHA addressing protocol is most preferred in RDCS because of its characteristics. Most of products and studies use stochastic addressing, but they have some defeats such as small capability, large volume, and energy consuming. The thesis takes notice on ALOHA combined with CDMA technology to realize the RDCS. It first constructes a module on the two technologies and emulates it. Key parameters are refined to guide the following development of a real prototype of the terminal. The prototype takes PFGA technology and Large-scale integrating technology to reduce its geometry scale and energy consume. Through measure we found the prototype's parameters reached the design requrment.
