Chemical Process Simulation System Development

Chemical process system is a large-size complex system, and its simulation software is developing towards macro-scale operations technology. Due to its shortage in credibility, extensibility, and reusability, the traditional structure method in developing chemical system is hard to build a new model with exist ones. Therefore, it is a developing trend using the Object-Oriented technology instead of the structure technology.In this paper, we use the Object-Oriented Application Framework technology to develop the chemical process. This method can be fitted well for development of the large-size software system, especially for the system with many objects and complex relations and it emphasizes the main framework constructed by abstract objects. The chemical process simulation software developed by this technology has the merits as follows. First, it is independent of the detailed chemical process, so it can be widely used in development of process system. Second, the system application framework constructed with this method can adapted the chemical techniques logical express currently and the system designed has simple collective structure, good flexibility and maintainability.Chemical process simulation system chiefly meets both of computer needs of instruction and engineering application. This simulation software consists of following functions: the design of chemical equipment and chemical techniques, calculation, data management and so on. In this paper, we chiefly finished system analysis, main framework construct, data structure design, graphic edit and framework interaction functions and main user interfaces design. At last, some instance objects such as pipe system, heater, reactor, absorb tower, and pump are analyzed and modeled.
