Electric valves are important executing and adjusting organs of medium in ductwork. It is very urgent that digital, intelligent, self-diagnosing and self-service electric valves should be realized. To satisfy this kind of practical demand, this Master' s degree paper expatiates the basic theories and knowledge in designing a set of intelligent controller for an electric valve and a manual debugging instrument, which developed in the corresponding research subject. Details are provided at some key points.Single chip AT89C2051 is used as a core component in this system. With the help of software programmed in assemble language, the system drives electromotor to execute relevant work after disposing and calculating each electric signal, and the valve becomes a closed loop system. It can deal with exigency when there is something wrong with the working valve. Network controlling, and communications between single chip and PC are also discussed in this paper, certain research has been done. As the accessory of the intelligent controller, the manual debugging instrument can simulate control center by creating, transmitting and displaying the command signals and feedback signals. The independent single chip system can be used as a universal industrial 4-20mA current generating instrument widely.The adjusting and running of the system indicates that the whole design is feasible and reliable, and the presumed functions have been conducted successfully.
