Glass Container Inspection System Based On Digital Image Processing And Recognition Research

This thesis is a part of the research project "Automatic Check System of Glass Container Based On Image Processing and Identifying " sponsored by Some Machinery Company Ltd . It is aimed to adopt computer vision principle to collect the glass container digital-images and process digital-images. Based on statistic pattern recognition principle of identifying the image classification,the exactitude identifies the image of an unqualified glass container.For each gray image wavelet transform based on histogram modification is used to eliminate the disturbance of background. Threshold,edge extraction,mathematics morphology methods are also used to process gray image.Different algorithms are used to obtain different characteristic vectors for different images. Template matching and erode algorithms are used respectively for glass container finish image and glass container center portion.
