Ofdm Multi-carrier Transmission Technology Based On Software Radio Research

Since cellular network technology was put forward by Bell lab,mobile communication has entered into a fast development period. From first analog generation to second digital generation,and up to wideband 3G and so-called 4G at present,mobile communication aims to personal communication. Future mobile communication will be wide-band multimedia communication. The adoptive technologies include wideband CDMA,Software Radio,Intelligent Antennas,OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) and Digital Processing device.OFDM and Software Radio are both the charming technology for future mobile communication. This paper mainly focuses on the combination of OFDM system with the Software Radio technology and presents OFDM transceiver scheme based on Software Radio platform.Chapter 1 gives a brief description of the development of mobile communication and Software Radio technology,followed by expatiation on theory of OFDM and OFDM-CDMA.Chapter 2 sets forth the structure of IF (Intermediate Frequency) digital Software Radio,the critical theory of Software Radio and the signal processing technique about it.In chapter 3 we focus on the scheme design of OFDM transceiver based on Software Radio. The synchronous algorithms presented in such OFDM system are simulated via matlab.In chapter 4 relatively all-around research on channel estimate is investigated and a simple LMMSE channel estimate scheme of OFDM system based on Software Radio is put up.Chapter 5 focuses on the primary research of OFDM-CDMA system and discusses the realization of three type OFDM-CDMA systems based on the Software Radio platform.
