In recent years, Smart Antenna, which is considered to be a solution to the problem of lacking frequency, becomes a hotspot in the Mobile Communication area. With this technology, Capacity of Mobile Communication system can be increased effectively and the quality of service can be improved at the same time. To study Smart Antenna and its key technologies is important both in theory and in practice.In this paper, technologies of Smart Antenna including its channel models, theory, function, applications and development are introduced firstly. In addition, some problems about its realization such as modes of its realization, rules of its performance, adaptive algorithms are analyzed. And then we focus our attention on a blind algorithm, which is based on the direction of arrival signal. On the basis of studying theories of MUSIC and ESPRIT in detail, performance of these two DOA estimation algorithms is analyzed and simulated; In order to decrease calculating-time and complexity of the algorithm, a rule of maximum received signal is presented; Next several problems about realization of the algorithm are discussed; Aiming at solving the problem of low speed in eigen-subspace extraction, this paper puts forward a neural network algorithm ,which can be used to extract eigen-subspace of signals in parallel, Validity of this algorithm is proved by both mathematics and simulation.
