Release Management System

In this paper, the daily release manage system for large development of J2EE(Java2 platform enterprise edition) components is discussed. Using this system, a series of managements such as: collect source code, compile code, archive, distribute, deploy can be automated by simple configuration. To configure least items get from analyzing their specialty, the system can create makefile which implement automation for all phases. If apply this system to a large scale Java project(more than 1000 class), its capability is very good.At the same time, the system integrates with VSC(version control system) which can manage source code and other files and is helpful to data security and avoid losing or confusing files. Because VSC can get source code which has ever existed in past, the system complements this function that can analyze source code differently. As result, the system can get difference between any two versions and deal with it.The result coming from many applications has shown that the system is efficient to increase rate of progress, decrease expenditure, shorten project periods, reduce mistake and enhance quality.
