Based on researches and developments of Distribution Management Software (DMS) of ISCM (Integrated Supply Chain Management) and method of component oriented software development, this paper set forth the application of Architecture Description Language (ADL) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) Integrated Modeling Method used in process of DMS modeling. This method can formalize the process of modeling.Firstly, software architecture is researched by analyzing the definition of SA, architecture styles and its composed elements. Then architecture description language (ADL ) is analyzed, and ACME is choosed to describe the system in a formalized language, and UML is to model system in a visualized language. Secondly, the Integrated Modeling Method is used in different phrases of modeling process including domain analysis phrase, domain design phrase and domain implementation phrase. The whole process of modeling and idea of design are implemented on DMS. Thirdly, the inevitability of this method used in modeling process is found out by analyzing the features and advantages of UML and ADL.In the end, we implement the DMS, and find some reused components such as interface > transaction and data component of the DMS. The presented modeling idea and method are in effect after the software exploitation testing.
