Study Of Small-world Network Theory In The Transport Network

This paper applied the model of small world network overseas to management field for the first time which was the last research progeny in intercross subject, and investigated the quantity character of this kind of network. Then it also provided a way according with our situation to reduce the average path length of network and developed a measure to network evaluation and technique to aid network building based on the efficiency theory of network by transplanting the matured theory of math and physics and joining the character of our transportation network.In order to resolve the problem which arised from the average path length and efficiency of our aviation network, we researched the advantage of small world network from the angle of quantity characteristic and applied the GA (genetic arithmetic ) to numeric simulation in condition configuration of limit number of shortcuts. Experiences show that the network has a high efficiency when it has a "single center" or some and when all shortcuts are connected to each other.In the aspect of fault-tolerance in network, we redefined the small world network in globe efficiency and local efficiency and indicated that SWN has high globe efficiency and local efficiency (i.e. high transportation efficiency of globe and local) and then provided a way to improve the efficiency of general network.Finally we simulate and calculate a definite transportation network of Nanjing by matured math tool-Matlab joining theory of chart and network with analysis and conclusion. Experiences show that efficiency theory of SWN can aid the building and evaluation of real network well.The results of this thesis come from getting a good outcome by applying the quantity characteristic to building and evaluation of network. It made a good preparation to the research of building a index system of quantitative analysis of outside or inner relationship between industrial enterprise and macro-economic system.
