In the paper, under the development of 403C Radar Target Recognition Technical Pattern background, develop a real time detecting and tracking system of Radar targets. In this system the TMS320C31 Digital Signal Processing chip produced by TI Company is put into use, which not only improve the velocity of detection and tracking but also solve the problem of real time detection and tracking of multi_targets.Chapter One, the Preface, as an introduction, following a brief description of the signification and source of the task, a brief description of the radar detectiong system is given.In Chapter Two, the detecting and tracking system of radar targets based on DSP chip is emphasizedly introduced. Firstly, the work flowN DSP chip's performance and developing situation was introduced simply. Then unitary structure and its constituting parts are described in detail. It includes analog circuitSs A/D circuits controling circuits PCI bus interface circuits and virtual device driver based on PCI bus etc.In Chapter Three, it narrate that the way of developing DSP software and the detection algorithm based on the correlative location. Then the tracking algorithm of multiple targets based on the consecutive theory of moving targets ,the communication of DSP and computer,the transmission of a great deal data of Radar objects are followed. At the end of this Chapter, the part results of experiment is given.This detection and tracking system are good at solving the problem of real time sampling N detection tracking of multiple radar targets.
