Based On The Can Bus Distributed Control System Design

Based on the background of the science research task of the CAN bus Distributed Control System, this paper mainly discusses the design and implementation of Distributed Control System based on CAN bus, including the design and implementation of general intelligent communication adapter(named as PC-CAN adapter) and general intelligent node.The characteristic of Distributed Control System and the general situation of Field bus and the characteristic of CAN bus are inLroduced. The CAN application layer protocol-the standard SDS protocol is introduced.The design of intelligent communication adapter using new First In First Out(FIFO)technology is presented in detail.And the design of general intelligent node is also presented in detail. The device driver of adapter using SDS standard protocol and the application program using VB are given.The data acquisition of general intelligent node and the communication with PC are given, fn the end, we compared and analyzed CAN bus' s performance with CSMA in the aspect of utilization of channel.The CAN Distributed Control System has been designed and debugged.The system has good currency, high reliability and high performance/price ratio and it has good market foreground.
