Content: With the rapid development of IT technology and Electronic Business, Enterprise Server is used more and more widely. Its N-layer structure meets designing, empoldering, debugging, deploying, running and managing E-business application. Compared with traditional manner for application's exploitaton, the Enterprise applications based on Enterprise Server have more expansibility and stability.This paper first studies the theory of J2EE model and it's structure, and analyses the structure and function of Enterprise Server product which's design is based on J2EE model. Then expatiates the important function of JNDI service in Enterprise Server, including the basic conception of JNDI service and its implemented manner. Based on J2EE Specification, brings forward the three-layer structure of JNDI Service implementation: l)The JNDI API layer which service for application components-, 2)The NamingManager layer for initial context, finding in Composite Naming system, get object Instance; 3) The JNDI SPI layer for seamlessly plugs in existing Naming system. Thereinto three-layer, NamingManager layer adopts multithreading method. It can deal with multi-task at the same time, manage and control finding objects, which make the API and SPI more harmony and effective.At last compares traditional Client/Server development model with three-layer development model, this paper brings forward a good project for WanFangdata's E-business work. That is, use Enterprise Server as the middle-layer, form a three-layer E-business system. In addition to it, this paper expatiates the use of connection-pool and the implementing of Web Container detailedly, analyses and expatiates business logic of the Periodical System, the design intention of 8 modules, and implementing manner in Periodical System.It is proved that use three-layer system to design E-business, the whole system has more expansibility, security and portability. As the JNDI sen ice offers effective supply for upper application component, it is easy to achieve logic object finding in either Compound Naming System or Composite Naming System.
