The paper mainly studies two aspects of the key technologies in building simulation joint of airplane, including 3D terrain scene and model of ECM. The vivid dynamic 3D scene is the base of building the visual simulation environment of airplane. The paper renders the 3D scene using Computer Graphic Technology, places all kinds of fighting objects into it and operates on them, forming a kind of non-immersion VR system. On the base of the visual simulation environment of airplane, the paper realizes the model of ECM to simulate the process of ECM between airplane and radar. The paper applies the rectangle-triangulation method on data of the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and kinds of third dimension graphic technology to obtain the vivid terrain scene. The paper comprehensively applies the View-Dependent Dynamic Multisolution Model, Surrounding-Line Culling, View-Frustum Culling and Back-Face Culling to improve the efficiency of rendering, and at last obtains the fluent moving picture. The paper studies the theory of active ECM and passive ECM, builds and realizes models of several kinds of typical ECM. The paper abstracts the ECM machine with OOD method and brings forward a conception, the Model of Active ECM, and realizes it. To build the models, the paper seizes the main characters of passive ECM objects after they are discharged, i. e. moving characters and electromagnetic characters, and successfully realizes the models in the simulation environment of DIS.The paper also expatiates main problems in system realization, discusses system functions, state division and composing structure.
