Database Generic Maintenance System Realization

This paper presents a kind of model for an adaptive system to maintain a database, which has achieved an archetypal system. The core part, which is an adaptive tool to maintain a database system such as inserting, deleting and altering; and the information receiving system basing on Excel, has been applied by user to maintain the database system, convert and transport the information from Excel to Oracle, verify the entitative and conferring integrality and validity, and also test the optimization of DBA, user-defined integrality and querying basing on numerical value. Some has been tested in real environments, such as rivers; control center; reservoir; embankment and bestriding river projects. This model is adaptive; easy to extend and maintain; open and abundant to control the type of data.At all points for security, it has also been calculated: the security of applied system; the security of database; the security of data.This paper emphasizes the conformation and maintain of metadata, which is very useful for improving the efficiency to develop the database application system.
