Due to the reason ,PMD turn into focus of research of OFC System in steps in the world.The basic of content about research PMD include the Fundamental Theory,the Measurement Ways and the Means of Compensation, The Fundamental Theory begin with from reason ,which result to the presence of PMD ,and discover the statistical rule,which is related to the length of fiber and optical frequency in OFC System. then research a fitted PMD physical model for simulating the properties of PMD. the basic task of the Measurement ways is research the test means in frequency versus time , and then the excellent and shortcoming between them was compared, The Compensation research the compensation means from optical and electricity,while investigating especial optical apparatus for limiting the PMD effect oFirstly,united the Fundamental knowledge and cause,which result from PMD , I introduce a PMD Simulation Model o then deal with the algorithms of programming for acting on PMD and process correspond simulation. According to the result from simulation ,which algorithm is simple and easy process,it prove the statistics of PMD,and is used to analyse the properties. Based on research now,a novel measurement means for PMD and PSP is introduced,and the question of phase circumvolve is done with. After analysing the performance of simulation. It can survey in time the value of PMD and PSP,while the ways is quite simple, conveniently operated and its error is smaller.In the last , theory of the Bragg Grating compensating PMD,based on the radial- and wave-optics in sorts is concluded,while devising the parameter of Bragg Grating.
