Handwriting Chinese Character Recognition is a complex and challenge problem in Pattern Recognition, it has great influence on many fields, such as Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Computer Theory, Psychology, Linguistics. This paper focus on a system of Online Handwriting Chinese Character Recognition. It consists of five major parts:(1) Describe pertinent definition and concept, introduce history, actuality and key concept of Online Handwriting Chinese Character Recognition.(2) Describe the whole skills of recognition.(3) Describe the design of the whole experiment system.(4) A new kind method of Cross Recognition is proposed using the direction feature of real and false stroke segment, combine the static feature and dynamic feature. We design the function which describe the attribute probability of the stroke segment. We also define the contributive value of the grid and propose the concept of the expanded grid, and we got good results of Cross Recognition.(5) Ten samples of first level Chinese Character (3755*10) are collected to test our system, and results are listed.
