This subject has given deep research into the method and the technology implemented by computer on the identification of thermal objects'dynamic behavior both in the time domain and the frequecncy domain, and obtained the following results:1. Developed a general time-domain identification method based on least squares which has such advantages: fit for both balanced and non-balanced thermal objects by using the common transfer function style; improved the numerical stability and avoided a set of equations ill-conditioned benefitting from the Householder transformation technology; no restriction for input signals so have a fargoing choices. Examples showed that this method is high precise, useful in wide fields and very applicable.2. Applied the Lawrence method to the identification of thermal objects, made some improvement and formed a general frequency identification algorithm, which is especially useful for on-line use. Details about how to implement has been described in the paper. From the on-line identification examples, we can conclude that it is precise, feasible and applicable.3. Developed a routine for the identification of the model structure which is particularly convenient for the computer to excute, with the combination of structure identification and parameters identification algorithm, we can get the model from the time domain data or frequency response; Besides, this paper has produced a new idea of integrating the identification with the simulation to resolve the lag. Examples have good results.4. Developed a software which can be used for data acquisition, the identification of structure and parameters, the model verification and optimization, the numerical simulation of dynamic characters and so on; Set up an analog experiment system to take some dynamic tests and perform real-time identification.
