The MCA7707 is a special sensor signal processor optimized for piezoresistive sensor calibration and compensation. Achieving a total error factor within 0. 2% , the MCA7707 compensates temperature errors and non-linearity of silicon piezoresistive sensors. The choice and calculation of parameters and a series of steps for compensating temperature errors of sensors are needed for this operation. The principle and compensation process of MCA7707 are discussed in this article based on which the software of compensating temperature errors is designed. Each step of compensation is guided by accessorial explain and the automatic calculation and automatic adjusting of parameters are realized. The system has simplified the process of sensor compensation greatly.
