AbstractWith the developnent of computer application , the infrmation of mankind get a explosive increase . Tradition RDB and OLTP technique which provided transaction support can' t afford the requirement of deepen process of the data . While Date Warehouse and OLAP provided some degree support to it . How can we explore the knowledge in the vast dataset, it become a arduous task facing the expert of crossing fields. And with the increasing of computing capacity, the maturity of AI algrithm and vast capacity of storage, Datamining has unveiling itself and do well in some fields. After 1990' s, the Internet get much quick development. As a huge information repository, WWW has accumulated billions of pages. Then, Internet is thought to be the 4-th industry evolutionary of history of mankind. How can we find the desired information from so much Web pages, and how can we capture the pattern that users access the site. Web nining blend of Datanining and Internet technology , which focus on content classfier , Intelligent Agent, user access patterns, becomes the hot spot of the computer field.First, This paper describe the Datamining techniques in general, concepts, methods, techniques and algorithms. It interpret what' s data mining, why datamining, how to datamining, datamining and data warehouse, OLAP.Then we provide the content of Webmining, and it' s task, and it relation and different between Webmining and Datamining. It stress content of usage pattern mining. Also, we present the R&D of overseas. Base on them, we introduce the architecture of Webmining, we then discuss our' s integration of datahouse and Webmining, and our expriment.Last we summerize the deficiency of our work, and point out the orientation and perspect of Webmining, and the difficult it facing.
