Based on Android platform, combining with RFID technology, the intelligent guide roll call system is designed. Its application is developed by Android 4.0SDK, and embedded database SQLite is used for data storage. To add, search, delete, revise the tourist information in the database, handling users’ events of UI by using the event listener to UI, so that the application can have good interactivity. With the characteristics of visitor information management, the intelligent guide roll call system could realize the functions of automatic roll calling and positioning.The intelligent guide roll call designed in this thesis takes advantage of ultra-high frequency 960 MHzRFID technology can realize the function of automatic roll call in a long distance(1m-7m) to the tourists.In this system, every tourist carries a RFID card. At the end of travel, the reader in the hands of the tour guide can recognize each visitor’s RFID card quickly. When the application is scanning, it can send command of anti-collision recognition(multi tag identification)to reader, and the reader return with label ID information data stream constantly,then tag ID will be extracted from data stream by applications, at the same time, its status will also be showed in the database. Displaying the basic information of tourist in the screen of the reader that in the hands of tour guides to as to realize the function of displaying tourists’ status information. When visitors beyond recognizable scope, according to the status information presented in the mobile phone interface, the tour guide will call or send messages to the corresponding tourists in time, telling them to return to recognizable scope as soon as possible.The system has realized the function of roll calling to tourists without human intervention. Not only convenient and quick, but also accurate, and change to the phenomenon of the tour guide to manage tour groups relay on the league flag and propaganda apparatus. which makes the management more intelligent; the system will not be affected by the space, time, location, environment, and changes in the weather; automatically identify visitors’ state; roll calling visitors’ name accurately. This article also makes a brief introduction to the key technologies of indoor positioning, and analyses several kinds of classic indoor localization algorithm, such as LANDMARC algorithm, VIRE algorithm, finally, and on the basis of LANDMARC algorithm, based on the RFID signal propagation model of wireless channel, introduce a new Eij operator(Eij incidence matrix between the reference tag with positioning) and optimized based on "distance-loss" formula weight defining method, improved the algorithm of LANDMARC through MATLAB simulation, the simulation results show that it improve further the positioning accuracy.
