Food safety has been highly concerned as a hotspot due to the close relation with social life. The public desires to get more information about food safety with the continuous improvement of the living standards, therefore a regional platform where the data for food security and nutrition test can be shared, the information integrity and authority can be ensured to achieve the information exchange is needed to be built to avoid the duplication and waste of resources, to provide full uniform information about food safety and nutrition that benefit the government, enterprises, consumers. In order to serve multiple departments, systems with many editions according to different applications have been common phenomenon. But the traditional authentication method is based on the username and password, users must have the matching username and password, which bring great inconvenience to users who need to access different system resources. Therefore a single sign-on security mechanism should be established to integrate different systems under the food safety information service cloud platform framework, which can avoid the duplicate user login information being used in different application systems. This paper firstly describes the architecture, technical basis of the food safety information service cloud platform, then introduces the concept technical requirements and implementation models of the single sign-on system. Through the analysis and comparison for each model, a single sign-on system based on CAS is designed in this paper. The platform organizes the background database based on B/S architecture and Hibernate; encapsulate the complex data and logic based on Spring; deal with user interaction to achieve the security of inter-page links jumping using Struts and JSP. During the implementation stage, we choose B/S pattern, use LDAP as lightweight database server to store and manage user information, choose MYSQL database to store and manage subsystem information, auditing information and digital certificate information. This paper puts forward a login solution that matches the food safety information service platform based on the theory related with single sign-on, which meets the safety requirement from the single sign-on system with large views.
