After the event happened in Tibet on 14th March 2009 and the event happened in Urumqi on 5th July 2009.The abroad pays more attention to China’s ethnic issues because of associated news have been reported by different global media. As the mouth of American hegemonism and power politics, the abroad media take this opportunity to begin to use its influential media condemn Chinese government. The first part of this article expounds the relation between international news as a constructed "reality" and the ethnic issues, international media like CNN reports on topic of ethnic issues occurred in China is a kind of information interference to China. In the interference while promoting the internationalization process of Chinese ethnic problems, so China face the risk and pressure brought by international public opinion; The second part of the article analyzes CNN reports on Xinjiang in recent years, CNN Xinjiang report created one-sided image of Xinjiang for foreign audience, Xinjiang was described as ethnic relationship discord and frequent social unrest; The third part analyzes the factors affecting the CNN reports behind the issues of Xinjiang, A content cooperation is formed between USA academic and journalistic cycles, they represent national interests of America. In addition, the marketing feature of media in the United States and American special historical cultural view also affects CNN reports on topic of Xinjiang. Based on the analysis from two aspects of the countermeasures, one starts from the media itself, vocal promoting information public, the foreign audience need to appropriately adjust the report mode; on the other hand is to seek cooperation between research and media for scholarly communication, highlighting the Chinese superiority in solving method on ethnic issues to the international society, the correct understanding to the China ethnic problems so as to promote the understanding.
