Community correction refers to approach of making use of community resources to educate and reform criminals instead of isolating them from the society. It is the general term for all the means of criminal management and education in the community environment. In brief, it is to execute penalties for the criminals under the legal conditions within a community. This paper deals with development of a system which primarily aims at supervision and management for community correction objects in Sanming City.The paper presents an introduction of supervision and management system for community correction objects in Sanming in terms of research background, task significance, and current research and application, and defines the research content and its main tasks. Business analysis is focused on the existing problems of the system, organization framework and the original operation flow, and comes out with a reformed flow. Function analysis defines functions of the system through case analysis and description, and produces a general function package diagram of the system and subfunction package diagram as well, including sub-package diagrams for correction personnel information management, daily supervision management, supervision alarm management, basic data management and system management. Data analysis is aimed at the data to be processed according to the needs of each function and upon the base of interrelations of entities, establishes a database table structure.
