Design Of Conformal Microstrip Antenna And Simulation Technology Of RF Circuit

Fuze is the control device that can use target information to make various ammunition timely initiation, and it is an indispensable and important part of the weapon system. In modern war, Fuze is playing more and more important role.This article introduced the basic theory of the microstrip antenna and the method to design required microstrip antennas. The two designed conformal microstrip antennas must have the center frequency f0=7.7 GHz and f0=5 GHz. Aiming at the problems that microstrip patch antenna’s bandwith is narrow and the directional radiation performance is poor, this paper proposed a missile conformal with lateral radiation, broadband microstrip antenna. The microstrip antenna used inverted square patch, rectangular slot is opened on the patch, and circular parasitic patch joins in the slot to optimize antenna performance. The simulation and optimization results and test results show that:This slotted, conformal and directional microstrip antenna has broadband characteristics, in the vicinity of the center frequency, direction map has good lateral radiation performance, small size and excellent indicators, it meets the requirement of the system.The emission signal of LFMCW System changes according to the modulation signal, and the system determines the distance between the shells with the target using the subtract frequency of the emission signal and the return signal. This paper introduced the working principle of the LFMCW system, and analyzed and derived the beat signal. On the basis of this analysis, there gives the principle diagram of the LFMCW system’s RF front-end circuit. Every part of the RF circuit were designed by the ADS software, so that each part of the circuit can meet the system’s targets. Board figures were drawn with Altium Designer software and the completion of welding operation and test work for the hardware were also followed on after making the board. Finally this article initially proposed the assumption of the integration of antennas and RF circuits.
