The safety issue is always the most important concern in vehicle production, and the improvement of the protection of people inside is also one of the eternal themes. The installation of laser radar, millimeter-wave radar, infrared radar, visible light radar or ultrasonic radar ranging devices on the car operates like its eyes to guarantee the safety of the car. A large number of Luxury sedans have a full range of radar, but are usually expensive. For most ordinary cars, only the rear radar is installed for reversing, and few vehicles have the body side radar. The lack of observations for the side directions of the driver is likely to cause side impact or even accidents.In this paper, the ultrasonic probe is used to detect the side obstacle of the car. An electronic control system is developed to handle the data received by the ultrasonic probes, and ultimately process the information to give alarm. This article will contributes to the following aspects: first, the intense field investigation and data collection; the actual measurement of the ultrasonic ranging system, through experiment with dual radar system for near and far distances and the model building to improve detection accuracy on the blind side, and reducing the false alarm rate; completed circuit design, production, and write all the software work, and finally the entire system for assay. |
