With the development of retail trading in Shanghai, there are more and more supermarkets are opened in Shanghai.According to the statistics, there are about4000stores in China belong to BaiLian Group, the other retail group like Wal-Mart also has100stores.The top4characteristics of retail industry are:big quantity of its stores;high level of its concurrency;huge amount of theirs information size and fast update speed of theirs database. Such as order management,commodity price adjustment,and inventory adjustment.Everyday the system will receive a large number of update datas,but the data processing is all concentrated in headquarter server,so the speed of processing data is pretty slow,the system have to do a lot of logic verification in data operation processing which will lead to the problem of server overload,slow data reflash and long waiting time for the customer.Meanwhile,in some business link manual ways are still used to record,it will easily cause some problem like information lost,data inconsistency and the difficulty to maintain. So it is necessary to create a system for these retail group to up the efficiency.First, the current situation of retail industry and its headquarter data processing mode which lead to slow data update is discussed and it is necessary to use the distributed framework to rebuild the invoice system with Form3.0.Based on this,the main functions about item maintenance、order maintenance,data synchronizing is discussed and the main business workflows about these are analysed.And the detailed designs in the core subsystem of order management,item management and data synchronizing management are analysed,which mainly how to use distributed structure to deploy the different system of ho(head office) and store and the Electronic Data Interchange is used to synchronize the daily data between ho and store everyday. And it is also discussed that the Form3.0provide a lot ways to help validating the data integrity and its accuracy of business principle to minimize the load on the headquarter server and improve the respond speed,So that the integrity and accuracy of the data will be guaranteed.Finally, the retail system is compared to the other invoicing system of retail on the market.
