Research On Baosteel 's E - HR System

According to the informationization of the domestic iron and steel industry, most of the Iron and steel enterprises are at the stage of management informationization, by standardizing manufacture and management process by networks computer software and hardware. ERP are the typical representative system used in the Iron and steel enterprise, which support the routine business inside the company efficiently and increase the operation efficiency. This thesis describes how to enhance the Baosteel human resource management by e-HR.After comparing domestic and international HR management software, Baosteel decides to build a human resource management information system independently. The team do the system design and construction route independently, on the basis of the accumulated human resources management practice, aiming at meeting the HR management integration and the group’s future leapfrog development.After the analysis of human resources in Baosteel, comes an plan of integrated human resource system addressed by eHR team. With highly centralized system deployment and pure B/S archetecture, state-of-the-art J2EE specification and application of workflow software, enhanced system flexibility and scalability based on the application infrastructure, and using professional BI analysis software. The system use the XML interface specification, and using popular middleware.The whole system consist of Business system, Custom reports, Employee Self Service, Management control cabin and etc,which connecting the different roles on the chain of human resource management, facing the executives, Line Manager, HR manager and the emplyees and giving them supportive information. All this fully reflects the HR Management concept which is people oriented and serving the entire personnel and realize the e-hr management.
