The biped robot is a set of electronics, bionics, mechanical controland artificial intelligence and other multi-disciplinary comprehensiveobject. Biped robot has a humanoid shape, bipedal walking, has a verygood flexibility. Compared with other types of robots, Biped robot hasincomparable advantages. The biped robot technology is today’s field ofrobotics research front and hot, with a very wide range of applications.This article USES the STM32processor as the controller based onARM architecture Cortex-M3core to design a bipedal robot with17degreesof freedom. The height of the robot is about40cm (standing leg is thebending state), the width is23cm. The robot has17DOFS, head1degreeof freedom, arm four degrees of freedom, shoulder two degrees of freedom,the crotch to two degrees of freedom, the leg6degrees of freedom, thefoot2degrees of freedom. The robot USES a metal gear steering gear MG995big torque. This design has realized the bipedal robot stop, forwardmotion, turning, back and squats. Robots have wireless control behaviorcontrol mode and the advanced speech recognition technology. This designrobot configuration, the function of voice, through combined with voicerecognition module, can realize simple communication with robot.Wireless remote control using homemade remote control through RF moduleand robot assembly NRF2401bi-direction communication module, realizedthe remote control of robot behavior. The speech recognition module isused to recognize voice commands. You can control the robot with voicecommands on the spot. The advanced control theory of the movement ofthe robot is used to realize the precise control of each action.This design is especially suitable for teaching robots and storedisplay robots, and through the reform, together with the correspondingsensors, the robot can be applied to other situations.
