With the spread of digital video broadcasting technology and the rapid development of internet technology, the traditional television model has been unable to meet the needs of people. Video on demand become more and more popular. The development of video on demand has many problems which the biggest is the network transmission, because a large number of audio and video files require more bandwidth and server support. The traditional VOD was base on the clients and servers model it is not only have poor efficiency but also high relay on the video servers.To solve the problems of the audio and video files used in the Internet transmission, the files distribute technology base on P2P method has been proposed. In P2P model, peers in the network are the client and provide service for each other as sever. This model will make the service from center to the edge of the network and it call make full use of the resources in the host.At first, this paper introduces the generation and development of P2P network model. Then, compare the two different network models and make advantages and disadvantages between them. Finally, choose the BT protocol to make some analysis and study. BT protocol is one of the most widely of P2P content delivery protocol which usually deliver large files for many users. It also has many defects and not suitable used in the system.Video and audio files synchronization system in this paper is mainly used the BT protocol to expand. It is modified according to actual situation and expansion to meet the application situation. It adopts a higher demand of the real—time and order in the fragment chosen algorithm. It considers the different mechanisms to manage user data sharing between peers. The system stores blocks of video and audio media documents in common peers to obtain decentralized services. It makes use of the user's ID for collaboration in the different network and base the technology of transmitting through the firewall by NAT-punching based on UDP protocol to ensure kinds of participation join in the whole system.The system gives up the method which downloads"seeder"files and connects the Tracker server to share files in BT protocol. It using the way of database to search and locate the files. To solve the load balancing problem of servers, we starting from the analysis of user behavior, and according to various distributions of user demand behavior, we designed storage and sync strategy and we proposed to re-release media file, such as the time or heat of Videos changed.The point of the article is makes the VOD files sync system by P2P model, relieve the load of servers, reducing the costs of the whole system and also provides the better service for users.
