In recent years, frequency hopping radio has rapidly developed and applied with the flexibility and confidentiality. As the increasingly fierce confrontation of modern information war, integration of protecting and using equipment in combat field needs the maintenance and guarantee of frequency hopping radio which presented the challenges of automation and miniaturization.However, the current frequency-hopping radio test instrument cannot meet the above requirements, in order to protect security of our military communications, research and development of higher performance frequency-hopping compact radio tester is imminent. Whether achieving miniaturization and automation of the testing requirements, depending on the analogue-digital hybrid circuit and RF circuit, so it is necessary to carry out specialized research and development.First, according to tester hardware input channel sampling, RF power measurement and frequency synthesis of the development status of the content of this study, it shows: Input channel low-pass RF direct sampling of the hardware architecture to meet the signal on the 1MHz~110MHz blind identification requirements; to meet the portability, security, and cooling requirements, RF power measurement methods used by power measurement, power capacity up to 200W; this paper, PLL frequency synthesizer technology to achieve 10?7 high precision and 1ps jitter clock, the other using digital frequency synthesis technology to generate a variety of modulation and power of the test signal as low as ?130dBm at 10kHz bandwidth.Secondly, design and implement of hardware circuits. According to the internal structure and radio frequency hopping principle, put forward the design features and performance indicators. Theoretical analysis and simulation of RF power measurement, channel design, and clock synthesis, and draw the schematic and PCB.Finally, test the designed circuit. According to the power capacity, frequency response, harmonic, harmonic spurious test, the results has submitted to prove that radio tester hardware meet application.Article was designed and implemented an analogue-digital hybrid and RF circuits. It has a good performance and works stability to meet the security needs most of the military stations. Current test instrument designed in this paper has applied widely and achieved good economic value.
