Based On Cmm Software Testing Process Model

Software testing is to review the software requirements analysis, preliminary design, detailed design specification, coding and software testing is a systematic software testing process. Software process model is the abstract details of the software testing process. In the long-term research and practice, it is gradually realized the importance which to establish a complete and accurate model. In order to better understand the features of the process of software development and software testing and tracking, control and improve the software process, this process must be modeled. With concern about the quality of software products, software test process model is proposed based on the development model. And these models not only guide the software testing, but also help the management of the software testing process.This paper presents a new model of software testing process which can improved test process, hereinafter referred to the process-improvable test model. Followed the basic principles of software testing and with the Capability Maturity Model-based the test process improvement theory, it can continue to improve the whole testing process, and make the testing process better.The paper Firstly introduces the background of the software testing, the research status of domestic and foreign and the related concepts of software testing, and then studies the related theory of the CMM and software testing process, on this basis, analysis the traditional model of software testing process. Secondly, the process-improvable test model is put forward. Its model clearly describes each part of the testing activities and the corresponding relationship between each stage of development and refinement of each phase of testing activities. Finally, the process-improvable test model is validated and the future work is proposed.
