Coherent change detection (CCD) of polarization SAR (POLSAR) analyzes two or more images of the same geographic area in different periods to identify changes of the area by studying the differences of the images. CCD has been used in many applications, such as environmental monitoring, marine monitoring, urban planning and agricultural surveys. The thesis does related research relying on Coherent change detection (CCD) of POLSAR and the main work is shown as follows:1.Aiming at the image registration problem of POLSAR, a new similarity measure based on coherence of targets polarization is explored. The measurement is validated to be robust to noise and own good sharpness by simulating. The measurement could be used to registered accurately.2.Aiming at the measure standard problem of the new similarity measurement, a new concept as sharpness ratio is introduced to quantify the difference of two sharpness curves. A similarity measure could be measured from three aspects as: computing time, curve sharpness and sharpness ratio.3.Aiming at the problem that samples of CCD causing the coherence confusion, analyzing the influcing way of samples choosing to detection results, deducing the algorithm of CCD based on image corrosion. This algorithm could weaken the results expansion caused by coherence confusion. The effectiveness of the methods are validated bysimulations. The results show that the similarity based on coherence between channels of the polarization SAR can be used to registration accurately, and coherent change detection algorithm based on image corrosion can effectively control the proliferation of coherence to improve the detection performance.
