The paper made a study of the simulation technology for intellectual system's trajectory tracking and design the 3-D automation simulation platform, to solve the problem that there lacks appropriate simulation tool for the research.The paper analyze the principle of trajectory tracking control, through difference and relation analysis between posture stabilization, path following and trajectory tracking as three aspects of motion control, analyze kinds of control means, then conclude the simulation demands. And represented the trajectory tracking control problem of robot system, satellite system and multi-agent system respectively, then made the fundamental model that could represent the problem well proverbially by summarize their's common points.And have designed the simulation platform basing on the analysis of the model and the simulation demands concluded. Adopted functional modularization frame structure to possess the commonality, and HLA of logic architecture to possess reusability and expandability, proposed the behavior based overall modeling method and open construction way of intellectual system's model base to applicable to flexible objects of trajectory tracking study, based on OpenGL and VC++designed the module of simulation visualization having data migration, animation replay and video control functions.By the fundamental model, the platform was verified on the intellectual systems modeling, animation result, simulation's process control and result's analysis. The simulation result indicates that the platform makes the intellectual systems'model easily, has a good visual effect, could control the process effectively by requirement, analyzes the result reasonableness, meet the demands well. The platform could be used in the research work of related field supplying technical support effectively, and the design means also could be applied in other similar software platform effectually.
