Reproducing the objective world by three-dimensional image have always been the goal of many scientists and artists. With the popularity of Avatar, three-dimensional image display technology have attracted people's attention again. Based on the trend of disseminating information with image and 3d image, this paper proposes the concept of three-dimensional image transmission. On the bases of the reappearance of stereo image and its transmission medium, the form of 3d-image transmission were classified and main method for transmission of 3d-image were listed. This paper also analysis reasons for the popularity of 3d-image transmission from human physiological and psychological factors and commercial interests. The influence of 3d-image transmission on audience, media forms and social development were studied from the theory of media forms and transmission of visual culture. |
