Screening Methods, Based On The Gqm The Metrics

With the development of information technology, software is been widely used in every fields. More and more attentions are now paid on crisis in software engineering. To solve the crisis, software metric is now been widely used in software development.In the process of software metrics, the imprecise definition and measure is needed, and selects the most valuable metric to the stakeholders. And then the software metric activity can be implemented to improve the process of software development.This paper discussed the problems in currently metric selection method, and described the steps and advantages of AHP method. Case study of the step and problem in AHP process used in metric selection is described in this paper. And a GQM-based metric selection system and its model is implementing by using AHP method. The system run successfully and the process and result is has been verified by the date proposed in the case study.By the reasonable weight the metric element, the stakeholders'benefits are ensured, and the goal of the software is ensured to meet the stakeholders'needs.
