Passive millimeter wave(PMMW) imaging uses the energy distribution differences between objectives and scenes of millimeter wave band radiation to form images. This technology has the following advantages:penetrating clouds rai,fog and some shelter, affected little by the weather and can detect concealed body. Using passive imaging structure, the radiation hazards to human body are small, and the concealment of the system is good. Therefore the PMMW has the great application value in the maintenance of stability against terrorism,aviation security,ground monitoring,military reconnaissance and other areas.At present, compared to the foreign country the domestic passive millimeter wave imaging technology research is backward, it's not conducive for whole system optimization design. The problem that the point spread function is not accurate exists in the image processing. It's influence on the quality of image restoration. In order to solve the above problems, under the support of the National Natural Science Foundation, this paper describes the theoretical modeling for passive millimeter wave imaging technology, and research on blind restoration processing algorithms. The main contents include the following:1. Analyze the radiation receiving process, and summarize the system structure of passive millimeter wave imaging. It's referential for whole system design.2. Analyze the formation process of the antenna ShiZai temperature, and modeling the millimeter wave scenes. Research on the mathematical model of multi-beam linear array scanning imaging system, and emulate the process of scanning based on x X x feed source arrangement, verify the performance of the system.3. Consider the problem that the point spread function is not accurate in image restoration and the data is little in small field imaging, based on iterative inverse filtering method, through the constraints of regularity and support domain limitation, the iterative estimating blind restoration algorithm is researched, and the experiment results have a good restoration quality.4. Analyze the posterior probability distribution model of passive millimeter wave imaging; The variational bayesian blind restoration algorithm is researched for large field imaging. This algorithm can more accurately estimate the point spread function of the system, and improve the passive millimeter wave imaging quality effectively.
