Magnetron is a kind of high-power microwave source. It is widely used in the military, industry, agriculture, and medical, etc.Along with the technical development of radars, many types of them adopt frequency agility to increase the precision and the capability of anti-jamming by statistical method. However, if the frequency of this kind of magnetron is locked, (namely the function of frequency agility can not be carried out) the relevant functions of the radar will not be implemented. This will cause many serious results.In the manufacture of these frequency agile magnetrons, many of them are returned to factory for repair or are rejected directly due to malfunction of frequency agility. It is one of problems needed to be resolved in the manufacture of the frequency agile magnetron.In this thesis, the problem is studied carefully. The main contents are as follows:1. Illustrate the principle and the configuration of a frequency agile magnetron.2. Analyze the causes which results frequency is locked.3. In allusion to the different causation, resolve the problem in some ways.
