Workflow-based Document Circulation System Design And Implementation

The aim of Office Automation System (OA) is to improve efficiency and reduce cost of official businesses, which is based on Internet/Intranet and workflow technology. OA can acquire information and process information comprehensively to implement information sharing and collaborating efficiently. File transformation system is the core of OA.In this thesis, on the basic of investigating on the existing file transformation systems, file transformation system based on the real requirements of Jinhua Water Supply Corporation is designed and implemented. It illustrates functional modules of user registration, workflow definition, documents releasing, receiving files processing, documents monitoring and quantize setting-up etc. The thesis illustrates database designing and some key technologies such as appliance of ActiveX control, controlling means of system rights, stamping with authorized signature and so on.First, the thesis illustrates the application of the file transformation system makes information management work systematization, normalization and automation. Second, it represents the advantages of file transformation system based of B/S and brings forward the solutions of designing file transformation system which has good extensibility, simple operations and dynamic management. Finally, the basic structure and workflow of file transformation system especially some important parts and the chief problems is introduced.
