This research is about the system of remote technical support on vehicles based on TCP/IP and the database. When vehicles break down during duties outside, In the Remote connection kind of Intenet way, this system can monitor what is going on the Remote vehicles and receive the video information sent by the them so that Control center's technical experts are able to make judgment to the breakdown and direct the people on the vehicles to implement the trouble shooting and the maintenance work..This research mainly includes the following points:1. The main research is in the article is on the network transmission system's principle and the remote control system's structure. The article is about of respective characteristics of C/S and B/S patterns. Construction of the system of remote technical support based on the C/S in view of actual request.2. In the the system of remote technical support on vehicles, the key technology of Network Communications is winsock programming. Based on the analysis of the basic principle of the network communications,this thesis chooses the Network Communications , and briefly introduces interface function needed by the winsock network programming.3. Understanding and studying on the wireless communication, making comparison to several wireless communication ways, and analyzing their advantages and disadvantages.4. Completing the design of the remote technical support. Using mscomm which vc provides; realizing the communication by serial between the remote equipment and the server. Then discussing the database, choosing SQL Server 2000 as the system's database, using the ADO components to connect the database. Analysing the real-time and safety of the system transport.
