The Controller Area Network is a kind of serial communication protocol empolderd by BOSCH Company in German at the beginning of 80, which is used to solve data processing between inner control and measurement instruments in the modern car. Now it has already developed to the process industry, the spinning industry, robot, numerical control machine tool, sensor and several realm of etc. Also it is recognized to be one of the fieldbus which have prospect most.The CAN-bus node generally with 51 singlechip for the core expanded peripheral circuit to carry out its function, whose function is limited. So it is owned difficult control, poor security and a good many abuse in the complicated system. Aim at limiting of processing ability and resources for traditional CAN node, the research put forward a kind of method of design, that CAN node is based on the high performance ARM processor. Communication interface of CAN-Bus node is developped and applied successfully on the control circuit based on S3C44B0X microprocessor.The S3C44B0X is 32 bit RISC microprocessor based on ARM7 TDMI designed by Samsung Company. It has more abundant chip resources, which is suit for the development of embedded product, and provides microcontroller solution with high performance and fewer prices for general application. Placed a Synchronous I/O mold piece inside the S3C44B0X, programme its SIO mold to carry out SPI interface protocol in this design, which can drive the chip MCP2510, CAN controller of Microchip company thus, realize the CAN-Bus communication and resolve in how make use of the CAN-Bus carrying on correspondence with S3C44B0X for the core in the embedded system. In the meantime this design illuminates main thought and key process of design of related hardware circuit and realization of programme. After realization of CAN minimum node system, again design and analyze hardware circuit of conversion between CAN and RS-232 or RS-485, and programme to carry out the conversion of protocol. Finally local area network consists of the CAN node and come true data process in each node. From the theories aspect, this text discussed further data fusion, application layer protocol and the real-time scheme of CAN-Bus correspondence, which make theories research for the follow-up work.In practical application, it is owned reasonable structure and dependable performance in the system, which improves processing ability of the single node. Also it is advantage of an operation in brief, respondence in speed, low cost etc.
