With the rapid development of the IT industry and digital audio technology, the slow development of digital broadcasting industry has been broken. It has entered a new stage of development over the new audio technology which is efficient, high quality and versatility. As the core component of the digital broadcasting system, the digital audio matrix can be widely used in transmission, distribution and processing of the broadcasting audio signal and other exchange signal.As the key part of the digital audio matrix, the host-control card is used to manage the device status and deal with the audio signal in real-time. This paper designs an implementation scheme of the host-control card. With the flexible use of the FPGA and DSP, it can deal with the audio switching, mixing and distribution. Meanwhile, the host-control card uses the stars-binary structure which can ensure the high reliability.The paper designs the host-control card in the hardware design, the audio signal processing with the FPGA, the DaVinci DSP development environment building and the transplantation of driver. The paper primary coverage is:1. Designing the host-control card's hardware circuit, including the schematic design, PCB design and hardware module debugging of the host-control card.2. Designing the host-control card's FPGA processing modules. The specific processing modules include: clock module, audio signal's time division multiple access processing module, audio signal switching module, 4 channel audio mixer module, SPI communication module. This section is the key points of the design.3. Completing the DSP transplantation of the Linux and driver design of the host-control card, including the configuration and compilation of the U-BOOT and kernel, the transplantation of the root file system and the SPI driver design. Desinging the SPI test program which can verify the driver.4. Designing the stars-binary structure of the host-control card which can improve the system's stability and reliability.Now, digital audio matrix is widely used in the digital broadcasting industry. As the key part of the digital audio matrix, the host-control card completes the equipment condition monitoring, at the same time, through switching and mixing, it can ensure the accuracy of the routing and the digital broadcasting system is more flexible. This paper has widespread practical value and great practical significance.
