The passive millimeter wave imaging system is taken as research background in this thesis. Beginning with the basic theory of millimeter wave radiometry and combining with the principle and the performance requirements of this imaging system, a servo system is pretented in this paper, which also takes a research on the design of the hardware circuit and the programming of the software of this servo controlor.This paper mainly completes the following jobs:1.According to the requirements of this imaging system, analyze the main technical indicators of the scanning servo, including calibration method, scanning way and so on.2.Design the total structures of the servo system; select the main devices including servo moto, servo driver, the chip of servo controller and so on.3.Design and realize the board circuit of the servo controller. Based on F2812, design the power circuit, reset circuit, clock circuit, serial communication interface circuit and JTAG interface circuit.4.Complete the design of the software and the programming of the control code. Corresponding to the principle of this imaging system, the scanning way and the calibration method, based on circuit board, program the control software including automatic control module, manual adjustment module, reset module, delay module and data communication module. Choose TI's IDE CCS3.3 as the development tool, mixed using C language and assemble.5.Complete the hardware testing and software debugging, and verify the function of the servo system. Finally, with the other parts of the passive millimeter wave imaging system, successfully get the passive image of the target scene. The result of experiments indicates that this servo system and controller has high dependability and real-time ability, it can meet the needs of the imaging system.
