| With the rapid development of Internet, more and more Internet-based applications, especially some application development platform and application development technology, are coming up. Although the rate of software production has been increasing during the past decades, it still cannot bridge the gap between the demand and the present software production capacity. After lots of research on software engineering and artificial intelligence, people have found that software reuse which can reduce the cost of software development seems to be the only way of satisfying the required productivity and quality of software.As an efficient method of information organization and analysis, report is one of the components of enterprise information systems. According to the survey, more than 60% of the practical system application is related with report. Now with the gradual change of enterprise information systems from traditional customer/server to Internet, more and more report will be developed and operated in Webs. Thus, how to develop Web-based report component by reusing software has become one of the hot research subjects.The thesis analyzes the developing trends of report and the present situation of its tools, studies the MIS under the current mode of B/S and traditional mode of C/S and proposes the whole process of inventing JAVA-component-based report automatic generation system that after the core module of report tools is componentized by report technology and reusing software, report components can be conformed with HTML by making use of Struts frame structure. It has the following advantages: the extendibility of system can be enhanced; it is unnecessary to depend on the current platform; internet developers can divide their work and cooperate efficiently.The whole thesis can be generally divided into three parts: the principal theories and technology, the introduction of demand analysis, design and working process of report system, summary and outlook. |
