Information hiding technology is an old subject. The idea can be traced back to ancient Greece, the information camouflage technology. The so-called information camouflage technology, that is, secret information can not easily be hidden in the suspect's regular file that is, vector files, here is mainly used images as a carrier), the making secret information can not easily be found in people with ulterior motives. Information hiding mainly includes information secret writing and digital watermarking technology. With the advent of the information age and the emergence of digital media, more and more out hidden techniques and concealment methods shown. The digital watermarking as an information hidden twin brother, the information embedded into images, video, audio, and text files and other digital media, in order to protection of intellectual property and to prevent tampering purposes. At present, information hiding technology in the image of research is mainly aimed to color images and grayscale images, while binary image of relatively small.Then the meaning of information hide technology about binary images was discussed, and its difficulty on technology was analyzed, besides, I made modification and conclusion about the hide technology of the normal binary image information, and analyzed advantages and disadvantages on all of itself. Meanwhile, the paper has improved the two kinds of algorithms, as follows:The information hiding algorithm which Min Wu and others proposed has been improved, the paper proposes a measure based on the combination of distortion and image edge information hiding algorithm for binary images. Algorithm is not only considered after the watermark embedding also takes into account the distortion caused by the image edge features. The algorithm is embedded in the capacity and time complexity analysis of multiple images through the simulation, and compared the results with other algorithms to prove that our improved algorithm embedded in the visual and quantity have reached a perfect balance.The algorithm about information hiding proposed by Zhao and Koch and others is improved, the paper proposes an algorithm based on image scrambling and calculation which can modify the degree of information hiding algorithm for binary images. The algorithm is introduced in the whole map and pixel scrambling technology that can modify the degree scrambling on average the distribution of pixels that can be modified to improve the security, and will be able to modify the degree of pixel to modify and improve the visual quality. Eventually, the paper achieves the above algorithm by means of programming, the experiment of embedding capacity security and visual quality were analyzed by multiple images of the simulation algorithm with other results of comparison show that our improved algorithm in the embedded amount of information, security, performance, and visual quality in all three areas has been enhanced.
